Chandigarh, August 2: The Election Commission of India has accepted the recommendations of Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab for rationalization of Polling Stations in the State for ensuing Vidhan Sabha polls.
According to Ms Kusumjit Sidhu, Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab after rationalization, the number of polling stations has risen to 19724 from the earlier no of 18817. She said that each political party is advised to contact concerned District Electoral Officer for details of Polling Stations in each district.
